TRIPS

School Trips

During the school year all classes participate in trips and visits which are of educational and recreational interest. Children are expected to go on these as they are a vital curriculum base, and a part of their social and independence development in the case of residential trips (Year 4, 5 and 6). They are also much enjoyed by the children who like to have common experiences.

All the centers we use are competently staffed by specialist monitors and our own staff supplement this in the pastoral care of the children.

Current trips are:

• Year 6…2 night residential in Fuente las Piedras
• Year 5…2 night residential in Coto Doñana
• Year 4…2 night residential in Entrerrios
• Year 3…day visit to Aula del Mar in Málaga
• Year 2…day visit to Ojén
• Year 1…day visit to farm in Entrerrios
• Reception…day visit to Fuengirola Zoo
• Early Years…day visit to Los Boliches farm

In addition to these we usually have theatre visits and take Advantage of the programme provided by the town hall, which varies from year to year.
