INSTALLATIONS

Swans has a purpose built main building which replaced an existing villa on the Capricho site in 1998. It is a 2 storey building constructed around a covered central courtyard area which gives a light and sunny aspect. On the ground floor are the office, staff room, kitchen, dining-room, hall and Early Years and Reception classrooms, the latter with integral bathrooms. On the upper floor are Year 1 to Year 5 classrooms, a library and separate girls´ and boys' bathrooms. Outside we have one of the original villas, which houses the Year 6 classrooms as well as the computer suite. Boys' and girls' bathrooms are also located there. The school has two play areas, one on either side of the main building. On the villa side there is an activity area for the young children to use at playtimes. On the other side of the main building there is a multi-purpose, all weather surface pitch and a small swimming pool.

Alongside the main teaching staff of the school is a group of learning support assistants, both English and Spanish, who help in working with small groups, hear reading, do playtime and lunch duties and generally assist in the smooth running of the school. Additionally there is a supportive network of office staff, kitchen and cleaning staff who all contribute to the well organised, clean and attractive environment we strive to maintain.
