Admissions Policy

As we constantly have waiting lists of new children, the criteria for entry is as follows:

• Priority is given to siblings of existing pupils.
• English speakers.
• based on date of enrolment (ie. Date first registered on appropriate waiting list).

All new entrants are asked to provide birth certificates and previous school reports.

Children wishing to enter Key Stage 2 classes may be assessed.

We aim to ensure that each class has a balance of first / second language English speakers. If a child fails to achieve the required standard of a year group, there may be a need to repeat a year on the strict recommendation of teachers and the Headteacher. Consultation with parents will always be adhered to and actively encouraged, in order that the best interests of the child are always respected.
